Phone banks are now running Mondays through Thursdays from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. and Sundays from 3-8 p.m. at the following locations: Chicago, Springfield and Carbondale.

Letter writing campaign info from our LTE chair Carol Hillman!!

Okay activists – time to start writing those letters!  Bill Brady is (GASP) ahead in the polls and ex-governor Blagojevich’s retrial certainly won’t do much to help Pat Quinn.  If you need talking points for your letter, you can get valuable information at http://www.stopbillbrady.com or similarly, http://www.whoisbillbrady.com.    Doubtless there are other talking points but the above will do for now.  As I said in when I first posted letter writing tips, there’s no guarantee that a newspaper or other print media will print the letter you write but you’ll never know if you don’t write the letter!!The November gubanatorial election is very important and we must do all we can to ensure that Governor Pat Quinn is re-elected.  We cannot let a man who espouses the things noted above to become governor of Illinois!  So PLEASE – write a letter and send it to an Illinois newspaper or magazine.  Do let ICAT know if you do this and if you care to send ICAT a copy of your letter, that would be great Please take a few minutes to help protect the future of Illinois women!  Write a letter stating why it is imperative that people vote for Pat Quinn and not for Bill Brady.  If you do, I will enthusiastically thank you and so will all the people who would suffer under a Brady administration! - Carol Hillman carolh@ilchoiceactionteam.org
