Illinois Reproductive Health and Access Act
The Illinois' Reproductive Health and Access Act (HB 6205) has been introduced in the Illinois House of Representatives.  If it becomes law, this measure will ensure access to reproductive health care and services, which includes comprehensive sex education in Illinois.

The bill is gaining support in the Illinois legislature thanks to an organized and committed statewide coalition, of which the Illinois Choice Action Team is a part of.  We believe that women and girls cannot realize their full potential without the freedom to control their reproductive health - which is why we support this bill - and ask you to join us.

Suggested Thank You Letter for Representatives Who Are Already Sponsors of the Reproductive Health and Access Act (HB 6205)
As your constituent, I wanted to thank you for your sponsoring  House Bill 6205, the Reproductive Health and Access Act.  Your support shows your dedication to the women and girls of your district and Illinois.

I believe that all individuals should have  the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive-health choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy through the use of contraception and education, bearing healthy children, adoption, and choosing legal abortion. These things are especially important for the women and girls of Illinois to be able to realize their full potential.

Your support of this bill shows that you share these values.  Thank you for your continued support of the Reproductive Health and Access Act (HB 6205).

This bill is necessary in order for the women and girls of Illinois to be able to realize their full potential.  I believe that all individuals should have appropriate and necessary access to the full range of reproductive services, including comprehensive sex education.  I also believe that all individuals should have appropriate and necessary access to healthcare and services, including, but not limited to, prenatal care, adoption, contraceptive care (including timely access to emergency contraception), pregnancy termination, and screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections.

Please support this bill, HB 6205, to show the women and girls of your district and Illinois that you support them and recognize the importance of their lives.
